In ZINZI we showcased the raw talent of children from a South African township. Their heartfelt performances didn’t just captivate audiences – they inspired action.

Paired with renowned South African artists Mamela Niamza and Faniswa Yisa, the children blossomed before our eyes.

By day’s end, they beamed with pride and newfound confidence. Township life offers few opportunities to explore a child’s potential. We knew we had to act.

• Sponsored six children to iGugulethu Arts and Leadership Project, and after-school program founded by passionate educator and choreographer Olwethu Katase

• Contributed to program offerings: dance, yoga, music, leadership development

• Contributed to kids’ Saturday English classes at the University of Cape Town

• Contributed to hiring additional dance teachers
